She cries- poem

--

Have you ever seen a sweet boy, a sad girl cry?

Isn’t it beautiful? It awakens in you an old, forgotten pain, wrapped up like the first dawn.

She cries.

Sincere and tender, she has no idea of the beauty of her sorrow.

Sorrow like a warm autumn with falling leaves.

It evokes scarce feelings in you. Both tears, fear, and pure joy longing for a forgotten dream.

An unknown dream buried in the dust of the book called soul.

I’m afraid to chase it, this empty old dream, lest I stumble and fall into darkness.

She cries.

For you, sweet boy, she cries, for your gentle gaze, for your warm hands.

I know her sorrow is beautiful, but please, dear boy, give her back her joy anyway.
